I resigned my lease..so I am committed to another year in this apartment..so i wanted to make a few changes. For starters, I put up a curtain rod and curtains..ALL BY MYSELF! I was very proud! Don't look at the zebra sheet that is pinned up with thumb tacks..haha.

Here is a close up of the curtain rod..I had to screw in the curtain rod holder with a drill and everything! haha!

The other night when my brother Steve was here I had him help me install a sprayer in my shower to give Winston a better bath! It works awesome! It was quite a scene watching us do it..after a few drinks..Steve had to use a pliars and a gripper thing to get jar lids open just to get the shower head off!

I also rearranged my living room, just a little..looks less cluttered! :)

It makes me feel more grown up to have a nice apartment and nice furniture. I mean I am turning 2-5 this year!! WOOOAH!! How did that happen!? I'm feeling kinda lost these days..do I still like Ames..but where else would I go? Who would I know? How happy would I be?

Saturday night was the Lady Antebellum/Tim McGraw concert in Des Moines.

Since it was the night before Valentine's Day, I knew that we would be lucky to get a table anywhere! The girls I went with ((Jess, Nichole, and Edie)) wanted to go to Olive Garden. The wait was going to be rediculous so we tried a few different places and ended up at the Rock Bottom Brewery on University Ave.. it was DEISH! And, a super fun atomosphere! I loved it! I will definatly be going back soon!!

We were a tad late for the Lost Trailors but definatly made it to the concert in time for Lady Antebelum!!!!!
They were amazing!!! I reccomend seeing them if you ever get the chance!

Tim McGraw was not too shabby either! I am not a huge fan of his newer music.
But I'd let him play his oldies anytime--Everywere, Where the Green Grass Grows, I Like it I Love It.....the list goes on and on!

He sang Angel Boy during the encore, I forgot how great a song that was! I am currently obsessed with it! haha

HUGE flakes..it was soo pretty!
After 50+ inches so far this winter, I NEVER thought I'd say it was pretty..haha..but it was! ((especially since I wasnt driving))

Tonight I am planning on finally seeing Dear John at the movie theatre..I read the book one day last week and cried harder than I have in a while! Im nervous about tearing up in the theatre! I convinced myself I would just rent it..but I got talked into going! I will just pack pleanty of kleenex in my purse! hehe..

Tomorrow, I work for 4 hours, then I am going to the Tim McGraw concert..his opening acts are what I'm most excited for: Lady Antebellum and The Lost Trailers! Im looking forward to good music and good friends!

I got a new Glamour today..

My favorite part is the Glamour List..in this issue its the last page.

This month--in lou of Valentines Day (maybe?) the list was:

So, my Monday night pleasure is the ABC Family tv show GREEK!

I love it! It is about a brother and sister that go the the same college-CRU.

Casey is in a Sorerity. She has drama with Cappie and Evan.

Im soooo team Cappie! I adore him!

hes a doll!

Casey's best friend is a boy crazy riot with the most interesting clothes..haha

Rusty, Caseys bro is in a frat-the KT's (cappie is the president) they are the frat that are known for partying! Rusty is a really smart nerdy boy but somehow fits in just right!

Doesnt it just sound intreaguing! haha! I love it!

Its full of fun music, drama, backstabbing sorerity sisters, theres even a few gay people to make it a well rounded family show! haha

Well..today is the Superbowl..

Like a lot of people out there, I pretty much only watch for the commercials.

I remember growing up and seeing THE BEST commercials.

It seems that in the recent past years, that the commercials have been kind of dissapointing!
I have high hopes for this year! I guess we will see....

In celebration of the Superbowl I ordered some food--Wings..thats kinda a big deal for me.

Haha! I dont normally eat wings for some reason. But they sounded good tonight!

I havn't done much today..its been a really lazy weekend! oops!

Even Winston is lounging! I think we are both getting tired of winter and being inside ALL of the time!

I did make it out last night with my buddy Callie. We got to the bar on Main St. and a bunch of ppl that work at the hospital were there! That was really fun! They are people that I see in the hallways and smile and say HI to but dont "know". It was sooo good to see peoples personalities and just get to know them!
